Wonderworld 3.5 was a blast!!

The Public & The Artists sounded very happy.

Especially U.S.A. King$ who'd like to thank all the boys & girls who went wild at their set!
They filmed it all & will post it on youtube soon!

The only bad thing of WW3.5 was that the cops came in as well en stopped the party around 4.00 AM.

Quite stupid this had to happen, but the neighbours had quite a lot complaints.
So I can understand why they stopped it.

We had some trouble afterwards about the party, but all seems to be ok now.

Here we are again!

We worked hard last month, but more about that soon...

This weekend was "VALENTIJN", the day of love, woohooow!
Much love and kisses to all the ones who feel not loved or such...

Khaoz Eng!ne spend the 14th in Groot-Bijgaarden where he amazed every single person in the venue with his master-breaks at Abuzed recordings.

Kantoor went to Artisjrock to spread the love message all around and it seems he had fun as well allthough (like always) some things went wrong...it's gettin' pretty hilarious!

This week it's the first VIEWMASTER! @ kavka JC with The Big Lebowski on the 17th and it's FREE
come over, have a laugh & check it out!!

Also next saturday (the 21th) it's CORENEVAL in Koevoet Squad, Antwerp

Hey people!,

This was one of the most awesome nights I ever had!!

First of all we had a marvelous show at Den Eglantier with almost no audience, but the bands where just the best! They showed me all what they got. Respect for Ping Pong Tactics, Believo & ofcourse Some Pedestrians to fuck our neighbours up, until we almost had the cops in our venue.

Afterwards I had to move to Trix to play a set.

At First I was so stupid to give the people what they wanted & didn't receive any appreciation.

So I just fucked it up & amused myself like hell! Thank you motherfocking egotrippin' bastards for giving me the inspiration I needed to let you throw almost 200 cups at (or near) me!

This was an onforgetable night! For all the people who enjoyed it as much as I did, RESPECT! You trully care about music!

Hello everybody,

We've got 2 big announcements for you today!!

-First of all we're proud to introduce you to the first headliner of Wonderworld IV: CAPILLARY ACTION from the US of A, it's a free jazz/noise band, more info about them soon on our myspace!!

-Last but not least, Antwerp can warm up for our 1 year fest in October: It will be at least 2 days of music madness!!!

The first day of the festival will be on 09/10/'09 @ Jc Den Eglantier: This day will feature bands and our Wanted Freaks Soundsystem to warm you up for the second day!

The Second and last day of the festival will be on a TBA date @ Jc Kavka: This day will feature the dj's and electronic live-acts!

There is a small possibility a 3th day will be added that will be completely free and will feature all of our residents, this will be then in another venue as well!

I hope you can't wait to here more about this project

Wonderworld III was a blast!

I almost couldn't believe this was happening.

A perfect audience, wonderfull bands & dj's!

I hope everybody left with a good feeling.

I hope to see you the next editions as well!

-We're talking with 2 Aussie Dj's & 1 American noise band to play WWIV, I really hope we work all the shit out with this guys, that would just be to cool!

-We're also checking Belgian dj's & projects to feature WWIV, We've contacted some & first names will be announced before I leave for Berlin! (25th of January that is!)

-Furthermore Khaoz Eng!ne will play on Coreneval in Antwerp (21th of february, it's a benefit for the homeless, so be there!), Other artists who will play there are Droon, Dustrickx, Scamp, etc...

-Kantoor has been busy as well he will play the 20th of february @ Murphy B-day bash in a TBA venue.

The show with Wishes on a Plane/Bail & Kazuamsumaki really kicked ass!

I hope the people who attented the show liked it as much as I did!

Wishes & Bail really made my night as well afterwards, we had a really good laugh and they really are the best guests to have at your place!

So if they come back for a tour, support them!

Kazuamsumaki will come back for a show as well someday, very kind people as well, I can tell.

From now on I'll be working for the full 100% on wonderworld next saturday...

What we can tell is that we added Tekno-act Samoth(break6tem) & our fellow friend Khaoz Eng!ne to the line-up, both will bring a sick Antwerp-style live act. YEAH!

-Dream of the 013 Soundsystem has been added to the line up of Wonderworld 3.5 on the 13th of March! Tekno massive!

-Death of a Modernist cancelled their show at Indian Summer on the 17th of January, we will not put a replacement instead.

-Wonderworld III posters & flyers finally arrived & we're spreading it through Antwerp these days...If you want a poster for yourself, just ask!

-Wonderworld 3.5 isn't going to be free...

This is decided after some talking with the venue.

It's gonna cost €3 instead & all the money will go to a new speaker installation for the venue!

-We started to talk with some first names for the 4th edition of Wonderworld, as it works out as planned we're going to announce the first names in the end of january, these names will be MINDKILLING though.

-We added all the photos we could find of Wonderworld II on our myspace, go check them out!

Well what do we've got to talk about... A Lot!

***Believo! will attend our first Indian Summer on the 17th of january as well. This brings the line-up of the bands up to 4.

Once again, we had to many bands who asked for a show and I just couldn't stop myself from putting them on the line-up

Wanted Freaks january madness pt.2: Wonderworld III

Well, well, well It's almost a new Wonderworld ladies & gentleman!

On the 10th of January, this event will present the second weekend of the January Madness.

It's the last Wonderworld @ Den Eglantier...why?

Well It got many reasons why it had to come to this point.

It's a very cool venue & stuff, but they just aren't prepared for something like wonderworld.

We really had some big time trouble at the first two Wonderworld's, but most of all with the sound, because of the lack of material inside this venue. That's something Kavka does have & that's an important reason, also in kavka we can go on until the first busses drive again and it's a very central spot in Antwerp.

But to come back on Wonderworld III!

It will be a massive event with a nice variation in music from indie to breakcore.

The Line-up:

Scamp (Uk, member of the life 4 land crew who moved a few months ago to Antwerp.BREAKCORE/DNB)

Star Club West (indie band from Antwerp who did some nice shows back in time, but now it has been a while that they have played some shows, but now they're coming back and own your souls with their great music. INDIE)

Bishop Dust (From the french languaged-side of our country comes Bishop Dust, Who's also a member of the marvelous band Depotax! He'll bring you some own produced crazyness. IDM)

Some Say Yes, Some Do Less (Hailing from Ghent these dudes know how to rock, a very promising band! ROCK/INDIE)

Khaoz Eng!ne (our own proud producer Khaoz Eng!ne is really doing the trick these days, he played a crazy set on Sickboy & Friends, fixed a label and is coming back on WWIII to bring you his newest material! Watch out because your ears will be badly damaged! BREAKCORE)

Macgyver Hofstadt (Antwerp based experimental electronica one-man band, played on Dissonant last year in front of DAT Politics, I can speak for myself he really caught my attention there, I really hope he'll do the same with you guys. ELECTRONICA)

Purple Disaster (After a very cosy live-set at the last Wonderworld, he's already coming back to bring you once again his live experimental electronicmadness, this time we want you toDANCE goddammit! ELECTRONICA)

Dead Sets (Had to delay his show on wonderworld II to this date because of a show with their other band Echo Beatty in Trix, but with Dead Sets he's doing even better these days! He'll play a show in Cafe Capital a couple of days after our show! INDIE)

Ben.G (upcoming dubstep dj from Antwerp who'll bring you a baseline banging set!! DUBSTEP)

Fragany (upcoming hardcore/terror dj from Melsele who's going to blast the whole basement with his deadly beats, he's a deadly selector! HARDCORE)

Wanted Freaks Residents Crew (Maniak-47 with his Darkstep/Hardcore, Kantoor with his Dubstep or maybe something else today? and finally after a cancelled appearance on WWII we can present you SHMONK, he'll bring you also some coretastic stuff!)

This makes we got 13 acts for only €3!!!! This is very cool isn't it, but be on time because after 10.00 pm the price will rise to €5!

Den.Chaoot is a dutch breakcore artist who just released a very decent free album.

You really have to check this album out, because it's one of the best things in the genre I heard last year & that just for free.

Of course we wouldn't post this, if Den.Chaoot isn't coming to one of our events...

He'll play at Wonderworld 3.5 on the 13th of March just like U.S.A. KING$.

As you can see it's going to be a very, very cool evening!

What it makes even more special is the fact that Den.Chaoot will celebrate his birthday on our event! So give him a nice & warm welcome!
